KANSAS CITY 2020 HOMICIDE #34: MAN SHOT & KILLED OVERNIGHT AS CORONAVIRUS CRACKDOWN THREATENS TO SPARK MORE DOMESTIC DRAMA!!!

Over the past few days we've noticed a decline in the murder count. The streak didn't hold after a busy Friday night resulted in the latest shooting . . . Checkit:

KSHB: Kansas City Police were called to a homicide late Friday night. Officers found a man shot inside a home in the 5500 block of East 101st Terrace just after 11:00 p.m

Here's the important line . . .

"Police were told the man had been involved in an argument before the shooting. A subject of interest is in custody."

For those of us who follow the local murder count, we notice that weekend killings are MOSTLY comprised of street fights among strangers, robberies, confrontations or tragic instances where a person was simply at the wrong place at the time.

Sure, deadly domestic drama isn't anything new . . . But over the new few days and weeks there is no denying the potential for conflict as people are stuck together on close quarters.

This is the 34th homicide so far this year compared to 31 at this time last year.

Developing . . .

  1. it's sad but a lot of people don't need and excuse to kill one another. One excuse or another will suffice.

    1. ^^^ However, it doesn't help when guns are so easily accessible. Even to people who shouldn't have access to them.

    ^^Learn to read, asshole.

The Second Amendment gives you the right to a "well regulated" militia.

"Well regulated" doesn't mean no regulations.

  13. Need to read the writings of the Founding Fathers at the time to understand how words were meant then. At the time of writing, "well regulated" meant what we would now call "well equipped and ready".

And the word "Militia" meant the adult male population not currently enrolled in a military unit of any sort - in modern terminology, NOT a member of the Armed Forces or any of their formal "Reserve" units.
