The Kansas City Budget Amid Coronavirus
The City Council of Kansas City is currently debating its 2020-2021 budget. Mayor Quinton Lucas had suggested some worthwhile cuts but abandoned them pretty quickly. ReplyDeleteI know and like some of those staffers. Sorry. It's time for the hatchet. This is like the city and the metro are being hit with an atomic weapon. It's a new day. Start fresh on the budget. Stop parking your past illegally in your present or your future.
City budget?
ReplyDeleteDon't look now, but the state is even worse off.
Then the Federal budget is already lined up to take a $4 trillion hit from bailouts and revenue losses and this is just starting. Also The Fed is adding several trillion more to it's balance sheet.
The game is up.
Call wickham and James! They’ll save the day! Hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteWe got to keep the momentum going. The momentum!
ReplyDeleteMore money for potholes PLEASE!
ReplyDeleteExcepting police and fire dept. an immediate cut in paychecks of 20% is indicated to deal with this budget crisis.
