CORONAVIRUS THREATENS TO DELAY UPCOMING KANSAS CITY ELECTION!!!

Here's an important effort to watch as Democracy is impacted by the worsening pandemic.

Checkit:

LS Tribune: Jackson County joins 45 counties in the Western Appellate District of Missouri to petition the court to move April 7, 2020 General Municipal Election to June 2, 2020

Deets:

"We will be asking the court to allow us to hold the physical election on Tuesday, June 2 with all of the same information and ballots and rules – as if the election were being held on April 7. If approved, we intend to continue absentee voting throughout the weeks leading up to June 2 – and the last day to request a ballot be mailed would be Wednesday, May 20."

  2. Vote NO! KCFD is a money pit organization that sucks in tax dollars like a giant vacuum, blows them on unnecessary overtime and dubious purchases. Wait until the press finds out about those.
