Good health news for this local engineering giant. Checkit:

Black and Veatch: 2 workers remain symptom-free after possible COVID-19 exposure

Black and Veatch said two of its employees are symptom-free after possibly being exposed to COVID-19, the new coronavirus.The Overland Park company said the workers remain in self-quarantine as monitoring continues.Black and Veatch said one worker will be under daily evaluation by the Johnson County, Kansas Health Department to determine if more tests are necessary.

They should have been tested already, but the Trump administration has utterly failed to prepare and still don't have kits distributed.

I'm sure the medical testing companies saw this coming. They have experts in their companies who forecast market demand before production is ramped up. They're not waiting for any president to tell them to increase demand. It's capitalism at work.

Governments and their health officials set policy for pandemics and other crisis. They collect and use global health data, not companies. The government responds. They orders the tests, supplies, and medicine. Companies don't do that.

Trump should have ordered a response 2 months ago.

BTW, increase demand??? You mean supply. You don't know even understand the capitalism you are trying to explain.
