Over the past few days social media has been passing around a clip of a KCPD CRUISER spinning its wheels on local streets.

As far as we're concerned this is probably just good community relations and outreach. During the Summer street racers, drifters and all manner of gear heads takeover local streets and establishing some kind of rapport with this community isn't a bad idea in order to encourage cooperation when auto antics get serious and these amateur stunt drivers might need to talk with police about something more important than minor vehicle infractions.

Delete^^Don't listen to this clown as they can't always get you off. I paid a huge fine and major points on my DL. You get a judge who hates street racing or guys like me trying to impress people and they can make it hard on you. They got me for the burn out and reckless driving both.

DeleteAccording to the KC MO police department, there is always something more important. For once the police showed up, but showed up to waste city resources. Enough of the "community outreach" excuse. The department has a number of staff withe no purpose other than community outreach.

geez, who gives a shit. I agree with TKC's take. He endangered no one and wasted maybe $40 wear on the tires. That's NOTHING compared to the hours upon hours of idling their cars for no real apparent reason. The kids recording it maybe think this is a cop they could trust, he sometimes does the same shit they do.
