Spring is almost here and Clay Chastain is marching forward with two bold efforts . . .
He's running for Congress and attempting to recall Mayor Quinton Lucas and Council Lady Katheryn Shields.
Local news isn't offering much coverage of his efforts but right now we're sharing a glimpse at his reasoning and info directly from the source. Checkit:

"Official Congressional Candidate Clay Chastain will hold Mayor Quinton Lucas & Councilwoman Shields accountable to the people for violating the public trust in refusing to place a valid "Green Transit" petition from the people on the ballot.
"Mayor Quinton Lucas and Councilwoman Shields have also failed to honor the "Save the Paseo" petition election and change the MLK signs back to Paseo Boulevard.
"I understand Mayor Lucas is a popular Mayor and has a nice smile. However, "smiling faces sometime lie and don't tell the truth". If Lucas & Shields change course and move the Council to place the"Green Transit" petition on the November 2020 ballot and change back the Paseo signs, I will suspend the petition drive to recall them from office.
"Republican Congressional Candidate Clay Chastain is prepared to bring Kansas City's Democrat machine (which has mismanaged and misplanned our City for decades, as well as lorded over petitions from the people) to a grinding halt."

"Kansas City's popular and smiling emperor (no doubt without clothes) is already being manipulated by the status quo that has long controlled City Hall and felt threatened by petitions from the people.
"Mayor Lucas told Ch. 9 news (yesterday when Chastain filed his affidavit to recall Lucas and Shields for violating the public interest concerning ignoring both the people's "Green Transit" petition and the "Save the Paseo" petition election) that the City refuses to place Clay's transit-improving petition before voters because the City decided (arbitrarily) it is, "not financially feasible." This City Hall arrogance not only ignores the will of the voters, it also belies previous Missouri Court rulings (Judge Holliger (1995) and the Missouri Supreme Court (2014)...in which both courts concurred that, " the people have the right to legislate equally well or bad as do elected officials." And, "It is up to the voters, not the government, to decide the merits of petitions from the people." But Mayor Lucas and the City apparently think they know better than the stupid courts and the stupid voters!
"Alas, we appear to be at the hands of another mayoral dictator and puppet of the establishment.
"Like the liberal Democrats in Washington (that have tried to 'stop and trash' President Trump), the local Democrat machine here continues trying to stop and trash Community Activist Clay Chastain."

Nancy Pelosi's trick is punishable by 3 to 5 years but you won't see that. Don't hire or do business with a democrat they don't deserve it. ReplyDeleteClay does live here enough to satisfy the election boards. Lots of people have homes in the metro area but are not here all the time either. As 5:18 mentions he's done more than you assclowns in trying to make Kansas City better or city hall held accountable.

And he costs KC taxpayers millions with initiatives and lawsuits. KC needs to sue him for frivolous suits, when it hits his pocketbook a little more maybe, please Lord, he'll go away once and for all!!

No lucky the clays around to protect you from the carpetbagger like Kathleen Shields who has no interest in helping the taxpayers just letting her husband's pockets for years.
