Outcry Against Kansas City Parking Crackdown From Hipsters Down By The River

To be fair, the hipsters and people living in vans not so far away often endure the same kind of scrutiny . . . Checkit:

Neighbors say they were blindsided by Riverfront parking restrictions

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- New parking restrictions in Berkley Riverfront Park have upset those who live nearby. Tenants at the Union Berkley Apartments fear they now may face a big unexpected expense and hassle. For more than a year, tenants who moved into this new riverfront housing complex have enjoyed plenty of free parking.

Why should anyone get nanny state free parking for a poison emmiter?

It is imperative that this "Port KC" Renegade Organization be abolished, and that the control of Kansas City properties be restored to the City Government.

@8:09, "nanny state free parking for a poison emmiter".
What does Bike/Walk KC have to do with this?

Most of the people who live there are homosexuals anyway so I don’t care if it is a hassle or not. It’s funny.

So sorry your free parking has bee taken from you. The whiny guy in this story saying his pregnant wife will now have to walk with her groceries a little ways is probably going to sell and move to Brookside or Johnson county with his new baby anyway. It surprises how many hipsters who want to live in a multi-dwelling buildings whine about parking. You knew it would be a problem when you moved there.

All they got to do is go knock on No Cars No Parking Guru Matt Staubs door and say "what the fuck you doing asshole?"

That park and those apartments are built on a toxic waste dump. And, when the wind blows from that plant across the river, you get the rotten smell of cooked dog food. Get out while you can, tenants.

Where is the feedback from the "KC bus" PR engine? RideKC can bus the people from the car to the door of the apartment, for free.
