KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Mayor Quinton Lucas is serious about his campaign promise to pardon thousands of non-violent offenders in Kansas City, Missouri, who have been convicted of marijuana possession or paraphernalia. "I think, frankly, this is just us carrying it out probably three years too late," Lucas said.

  2. Only in 2020 liberal America are we worried about making criminals feel good and not pay for their actions. Too bad that a majority of them are African Americans. That's not racist, it's their choice not to follow the law. No one is putting drugs on them. Who speaks up for any other race when they are busted for their stupidity ? no one. When was the last time you heard an outcry for a race like Asians ? never. Poor AA 's can make ration decisions. I have cousins of all races. If any of them get busted for illegal drugs. FUck 'em. Don't care which race. None of them are above basic law. Tone of their skin isn't a free pass over the other ones.

Weed still illegal in government eyes.
Record will always be available in archival format.
Not exactly sure how Lucas will get around archival perm records in databases search- but whatever.
    Intentions are good.
    Just impossible.

  9. What give QL the authority to legally do this? He isn't the president or even the governor. I didn't know mayors could decide to vacate what is legally given by a judge as appropriate fines and punishments.
