MORE CASH FOR KANSAS CITY 'MOTHERS IN CHARGE' TO STOP MURDER SPIKE!!!

A renewed bit on this outreach organization reveals desperation from authorities in addressing local murders . . .

KC Mothers in Charge receives $75,000 federal grant

The group earned a great deal of local news coverage today regarding their door-to-door effort hoping to spread their anti-crime message.

Meanwhile, their efforts have proven to offer important support to the growing number of victims of violent crime but claims and work to prevent more Kansas City killing have been unrealized so far.

  3. 75K to do what? You know if these women cared so much about it they'd be out there on the streets doing it for no money. But no you have to throw some cash at them so the can have their teas and hit ladies night at the bar and you pay for it. Does anybody ever audit these money pits?

  5. For what? Give us our money back. Guilting people into not killing other Black people has never worked. Known murderers walking the streets of this City and every other major City in this nation. $75k won’t put an end to that - nor will this group. They are about as articulate as BuckWheat! And nobody accomplished much who didn’t have a grasp of the English language.

  6. I simply do not believe in the cause. Not even a little. They’ve proven that their incapable and ill-equipped to fight crime. That won’t ever change.

  7. $75K is just a drop in the bucket compared to what's spent every year in KCMO on "anti-crime nonprofits" that have had ZERO impact on the homicide rate for years, or in some cases, decades.
Aim4Peace, COMBAT, and ad Hoc, just for starters.
Doesn't anyone in county or city government have the guts to stop this waste and re-direct the money to where it might actually do some good?
    Like hiring more cops?
    Pitiful.
