New plan for Martini Corner could make area 'a real destination,' developer says

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A new plan is shaking things up at Martini Corner on the northwest corner of East 31st Street and Gillham Road in Kansas City, Missouri. New renderings from Kansas City-based Exact Architects, provided to 41 Action News, show a second-floor outdoor deck that would connect Brick House KC, Sol Cantina and Ollie's Local.

  1. In that area not a chance because the blacks ruin everything. BTW I watched a video today on cities that are bad places to live and KC is one of them. Business and jobs are leaving in record numbers. Gee does that mean I can have a whole floor to myself in the new three light?

    1. Oh, Chimpster/6:55 & 7:20, you don't even know what a job is, bum monkey! You watch WWE and fantasize you're getting knocked out by "rasslers" while they're packing your monkey mud with big bananas!

Completely transparent actions, but we appreciate your trying to create the impression that anyone gives a shit about your snarky little cowardly post @6:55.

  6. To understand what ruined Martini Corner you must look at what built it. Costco and Blvd Beer sponsors of the new bars built the relevance. It was not the millennials that wrecked it. The wrecking came from 40 something tattooed cokeheads whose dealers came in to fulfill sales. And the BS followed.

  8. ^^^ I don't totally disagree with 8:24.

But the place had a pretty decent vibe about 10 years ago. The drugs played a part in ruining it but the "in crowd" definitely played their part.
