A little slow either reviewing the surveillance video, slow reporting or slow police action. What's up, inventory just now found to be missing those items prompting BOLO? A three-toed sloth could walk to St. Louis faster than this story got out.

Probably got stoned, just phoned in and told them when and what they stole for the shits & giggles. Menards checked it out and wants their bucket back.

Seems a little extreme for such a minor theft unless they're building a faucet bomb or something sinister.
Must be more to the story or the police are all caught up and looking for busy work. That's it. Solved.
