KANSAS CITY POTHOLE CZAR: BROKEN STREET SOLUTION OR BLAME SHIFT?!?!

Here's another preview of the Inaugural State Of The City Speech from Mayor Lucas.

In theory, the proposal of a "Kansas City Pothole Czar" a good idea and something different than simply a repeated promise to focus on streets.

You decide . . .

Comments

  1. the real question is how much money the new "Czar" will have to work with.

If there's no funding then it's just another ceremonial position.

  2. Not unlike the county; creating new jobs to cover for those who aren't doing theirs.

  3. The same old BS from Lucas to make it look like he is doing something that's the oldest trick in the book. where's your money going? Do you even care? Report this guy. Call your state senator and your state rep. tell them to get over here this guy is a crook. He has turned down help to get the streets fixed.

  4. TOP PHOTO -- PROCLAMATIONS FROM AN A-HOLE

When Quinton opened his piehole, calling for a pothole czar, it was a tacit admission of his own AS-PHALT!!!

  5. And yet it is not his fault, rather the weather. Weird.

  6. ^^^^^STFU Weirdo

  7. Potholes are the result of poor street maintenance. But don't expect a weirdo supporters of Lucas to understand that. Piss poor patched little holes become huge ass holes. Get it asshole at 11:42

  8. 11:42 consider the fact that your statements are not really an alternative viewpoint, but we will be very excited when you do have one.

  9. Who the Fuck would want that job?

  10. I have the perfect answer! Why not mandate this becoming the responsibility of the Public Works Director. That person should be the most experienced person regarding potholes that is already on the payroll. Maybe he could just add it to his daily duties although it might cut into his three hour lunches that fall between his morning and afternoon naps.

  11. The Public Works Director is a woman, for reference. Sherri McIntyre is as personable as every other engineer. Feel free to contact her directly at 816-513-6590. As to the "pothole czar"; no need to create a new position to point out the obvious. But then again a person whose sole purpose in life is to point out the deficiencies with the maintenance of the streets just might be of value. The accountability in the current process is non existent. The work of the contractors is inspected by the contractor doing the work. The term "pothole czar" isn't new. Google it. The term "czar" isn't a term for middle-America, though. Perhaps people would understand better if it was called Pothole Chief?

  12. Pothole Czar = Friend of Kathryn Shields. She has friends in the asphalt contracting business
This is just Lucas doing Shields a favor.

  13. Bottom line is folks if the city can’t fix something as simple as potholes then don’t evar expect the streets, sewers and water lines to get fixed.

We sure are a momentous and happening city aren’t we! Please vote whit people into office so something gets done right, Jesus man, 12 years of a negro dictatorship has put us in the Stone Age.

  14. Fuck your right! Look at these black ran cities all over the US they’re all rotting rat infested disasters. Further evidence that’s spooks can’t run a food truck. Take a look at KC it doesn’t benefit these leftist democrat blacks to have anything go correctly because god forbid you wouldn’t need the spooks for anything such as straightening out their own fucking stupidity. I guess the white lib women and homo’s and spooks still don’t understand you get the government you fucking idiots deserve so guess what you morons fucked yourselves while the spooks laugh all the way to the bank

  15. 5:46 - Asphalt is the real problem!! If the city spent money on concrete we would have to deal with this pothole BULLSHIT every year!! Just ask Overland Park!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Concrete isn't the fix all. North Oak Trafficway at NW 96th Street is concrete and is deteriorating quickly. The quality of the work and the quality of the product is key. Odd such a new street is such a mess after only a few years. Isn't anyone inspecting the work?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yep, just what KC need, another overpaid bureaucrat! What a Money-Suck!!! BTW, has anyone actually watched the pothole filling city workers...it takes 5 overweight black guys over an hour to fill a 8" round 2" deep pothole...NO KIDDING!!! I've seen it over and over and over...one of these days I'll stop and take a video...it's ridiculous!!!! No wonder the city is riddled with more pock marks than a teenage acne nerd! Wake Up Sheeple!

  18. Be nice to be able to hire someone else to do my job and still collect a paycheck.

  19. How much publicity and self-glorification can San Quentin Donald Ludicrous get out of another promise to repair streets? It is beginning to look like corruption is not only alive and well in Cow-town, but spreading and getting worse, funded by taxpayers.
