EXCELLENT U-News journalism offers persistent reporting that encourages locals to REMEMBER this town's lingering problems. Take a look:
Criminal justice professor uses sticky notes to humanize Kansas City homicides
Homicide rates in Kansas City have been on a steady incline for years. With 138 homicides in 2018 and 151 in 2019, criminal justice professor Ken Novak took note of the homicide trends by recording each one on a sticky note and posting them on his office door.
Somehow I'm going to guess that not too many of the perpetrating thugs who kill repeatedly walk by the professor's door and take much notice.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he needs to spend some time on the streets in the urban core at around 2:30am to do some real research for his "project".
Clueless!
^^^^ Weird. You don't seem to have much of a clue either. What have you done to help solve the problem. At least he has valuable data. All you've got is a big mouth @8:09. Put up or shut up tough guy!
ReplyDeleteAwwww chimpy, you're just jealous nobody will be at the zoo today! Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteNow add two more notations on each sticky note: one for the race of the victim, the other for the race of the killer. That would be illuminating, but it would be way too much light for Novak.
ReplyDeleteEmpty shell casing would have more meaning than a sticky note. Anybody can pick up empty casings for free off the streets in the hood.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the notes are color-coded to the perps. Surprised to see any varying color in there, but a true 100% ethnic makeup of perps is difficult to achieve, even in KCMO.
ReplyDeleteBe even better if they posted pictures of everyone arrested for the murders.
ReplyDelete8:47 ^^ What have you done ms. tough guy/ " it " ? Buy dope supporting it ? and then can't figure the correlations of the majority of murders ? Please post how you haven't ever bought drugs, followed by your simple as fuck post filled with your own solutions. Let me guess, thee old Legalize. Followed by putting an Ace of Spade tat on the back of your neck.
ReplyDelete^^Old people. Sooo lame.
ReplyDeleteNo most old people do not buy illegal drugs, don't have lengthy arrest records and have not been life long welfare recipients.
ReplyDeleteLame, maybe but have made their on way without whining for society to give them everything from birth to death, generation after generation.
When you look back which group will you most identify with? Serious question, serious answer please.
