Kansas City seeks bid to host the 2026 World Cup

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- As Kansas City wraps up celebrating the Chiefs' Super Bowl win, it looks to bring more champions to the city. The Kansas City Sports Commission put in a bid to be a host city for the 2026 World Cup.

  5. After what Sporting did to the MIAA and the D2 football championship game I hope KC doesn't get a World Cup game. I also hope Sporting folds and that stadium only use to WYCO HS football games.
