Kansas City leaders to discuss eliminating traffic fatalities by joining Vision Zero movement
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Keeping you safe on the road will be a topic of discussion for leaders in Kansas City, Missouri, Wednesday. City Council members want to totally eliminate traffic deaths by the year 2030 as part of the nationwide "Vision Zero" movement.
They need to crackdown on bicyclist that run red lights, that aren't visible, weave in out of cars. They need to license bicyclists.
ReplyDeleteYea those deadly bikers kill so many.
Delete--Haters making dumb excuses. Better arrest the jaywalkers too, unless they are walking to their car, of course.
running red lights
ReplyDeleteblowing through a marked crosswalk in spite of pedestrians standing there
barely slowing down for stop signs
while approaching a right turn, not stopping or even looking to the right for peds or cyclists, but only looking to the left to see if traffic allows a right turn
driving fast AF even if conditions or traffic make it dangerous
following way too close
weaving, a close cousin to not using turn signals
etc etc
we need more traffic enforcement in KC and suburbs y'all. there's a lot of carelessness and just being in a hurry. more troubling, there is a hardcore small percentage of aggressive drivers who are positively dangerous assholes. i suspect some of that latter category are regular TKC posters, of the "hard cracker resentment" type and y'all know how you are. -radish
Simple. Don’t let Mexicans or negroes drive. They have no clue how to obey laws or signs.
ReplyDeleteNazi scum off our streets!
DeleteMore Whites die in traffic accidents and for good reason... they wouldnt know a safe lane change if it was branded on their forehead. Its dangerous White males with their guns, cars and entitled to everything attitude/behavior.
DeleteWe cannot even fix pot holes, now this....
ReplyDeleteSpeed dips are in line with speed reduction goals to save lives.
DeleteThe potholes are the distraction. Zero isn't reality. Pick a realistic goal.
ReplyDeleteThis City Council and Mayor have Zero Vision when comes to running the city.
ReplyDeleteHow about fixing the highway of death by getting rid of the stoplights?
ReplyDeleteArrgh. The war on cars by another name. LA adopted this phony leftist "program" and pedestrian fatalities went up, not down. But they did manage to get a "road diet" or two going and make traffic worse for everyone who drives those routes. Which is the whole idea.
ReplyDeleteJust another taxpayer fleecing scam.
ReplyDeleteSan Francisco has already banned cars on Market Street, will other cities follow?
ReplyDeleteThey need to ban homosexuals
Deletehighway 71 needs to be wiped off the map.
ReplyDeleteTraffic fatalities are at the lowest level in decades due to improvements in the manufacturing cars and safety equipment. What remains is distracted drivers, drugged or intoxicated drivers and just bad drivers. Good luck with zero fatalities among this group.
ReplyDeleteBike/Walk lite.
ReplyDeleteThousand dollar fine for using cell phone while driving.
ReplyDelete"forming a task force"
ReplyDeleteHere we go again
Nigga Pleez. can't arrest 89% of the population nor can you teach them to respect driving laws.
