KANSAS CITY CLOSELY TRACKING NEARLY 10 LOCALS FOR CORONAVIRUS!!!
Health check for the afternoon and something that local news is downplaying . . .
THE DEETS OF THESE KANSAS CITY CASES SEEM LIKE A COOPERATIVE QUARANTINE!!!
Money line that's supposed to calm local fears:
"These people don't have the virus, but they are staying in their homes for 14 days. During this time, the health department checks in with them two times a day to see if they have a fever or any kind of symptoms. So far, the local people being monitored are still healthy.
“Everybody can take a deep breath... and relax."
"There are no cases of this coronavirus COVID-19 here in Kansas City,” Archer told the council.
But our reader community realizes that it's a small world after all and just a few SARS cases popped up in KC not so long ago along with hospital workers being very suspicious about Ebola symptoms and patients quickly moved to other facilities . . . Locals SHOULD NOT PANIC when cases eventually come this way given that those temperature checking surveillance efforts don't really work. Better access to emergency healthcare and the work of Health Departments seems more effective at checking the spread of the virus.
