Kansas City Chiefs Avoid Controversy Amid Prez Trump White House Invitation

Credit where it's due, the front office has done an admirable job in trying to keep the team on message and has clearly briefed all of the players on the political leanings of MOST fans . . . To be fair, after a 50-year drought for the team. Gratitude is probably the overwhelming emotion.

Leave Tyreek off the trip. He doesn’t know how to speak or behave in public.

I just hope Mr Trump does not think the team is still from Kansas. We want nothing to do with the filthy drunken rats.

I can see liberal tears and faux rage over this already, the dimwits that live here are already planning on protesting the team, why, losers that’s why.

TRUE DAT 6:52... Why would the National Felon league want to separate from THe murder / crime rate of KCMO and St.louis ? 2 of the most deadliest and violent crime Cities in America ,but same state. Certainly something to be proud of and one should not confuse Kansas for that.

Tell T not to hold crotch or hike leg to dog pee. Better yet, T stay home.
Just let him out at game time to receive.

Frank Clark literally wore a shirt with trump on it to TWO super bowl press conferences. The team fucking loves the guy but media companies have to pretend like it's a controversy because their ratings suck

This country can't never just appreciate anything of good. I'm sure our Chiefs Team know how to conduct themselves especially at the WH. I just wish those that oppose to this stop with the negative comments. You guys are so quick to judge people, pets ,teams, etc can we just get along without the extra.

It's sad that the players have to be coached to not say anything that might offend Trump's fragile little ego. Don't be the guy that says something to make Trump decide not to invite us. Sad.

The fact that no invitation has been sent yet is telling. If this was Trump's BFF Bob Kraft and the Patriots, they would have already held the event.

Trump is unsure if he will be comfortable around this team. This isn't Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and Gronk. Outside Kelce, all the marquee players are black (except Obama at quarterback). Not Trump's regular crowd. What happens when he says, "Oh, look at my African American over here!". Awkward.

^^^^ And yet they're still going...weird.

The last two Superbowl champs didn't go.

It turns out hosting championship athletes at the White House is just one more thing Obama's team was better at.

If you're going to troll 3:31, at least know what's going on and be factual.

Trump said he invited them last week (we all know how good his word is). He said it would probably be this week. Didn't happen. No date set yet. Nothing is scheduled. We absolutely don't know if they will actually go.

Weird.
