Frigid Kansas City Bus Deboarding Policy Leaves Riders Out In The Cold

Whilst politicos debate freebie rides, the plebs are just trying to keep warm as they call attention to this turnaround routine that literally gives them the cold shoulder. Checkit:

After being kicked off in frigid temperatures, some KC bus riders are irked by one policy

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Some bus passengers are frustrated with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority after they say they were kicked off the bus and made to wait in the cold. Carolyn Clay uses public transportation because she has seizures and doesn't want to risk getting behind the wheel.

  1. The drivers have to take a break. This allows them to clear the bus and take 15 minutes. Otherwise a running bus is left unattended with people on it. How about a bus driven with wild abandon by a homeless nit wit?
Seems a reasonable policy to me.

  2. Drivers should be allowed breaks but should be taken when bus gets to end of route. Once at end of that route yes they should all have to get off. People are so stupid.

  3. End of route is where these "loop riding" rules are in place. It also keep the homeless folks from riding around on, sleeping all day on and crapping on the bus. Not the folks you want on the bus with your wife or mother.

  4. Well, you get what you pay for and the buses are free now.

  5. It is a bus, not a shelter.
