  1. Well thats because when they cheat on their wives and girlfriends and then end up the lonely cocksuckers they are, well I cant feel sorry for that!! The fire service is one of the few professions that offer some of the best benefits and pensions, so these cocksuckers have resources, the problem is most of said cocksuckers are to proud to save themselves, and I cant feel sorry for them with that. Heros are hero's and only cowards take their own life! Get help mutherfuckers its out there!! You have no exscuse to send your family to your funeral because you are a pussy and cant manage your shit!!!!!

  2. Firefighters and Cops are notorious for banging married women in Wyandotte County. They are such heroes.

  3. People study mortality of firefighters because they do important work. Meanwhile, Internet trolls are a dime a dozen and nobody cares if they life or day.

  6. This didn't happen in the old days. We now have women firefighters and men firefighters who have bigger pussies than the women firefighters do. Diversity is destroying the world.

  7. Nobody cares if they life or day? What does that mean? It does seem kind of stupid.

  8. 3 probs. 1st, they see a lot of awful shit. All the worst shit that humanity depraved can bring. 2nd, they have an ultimately unprofessional tude that is made up of a lower blue class ethos that has no support for their spirit or soul. Thus, they delve further and further into nihilism. 3rd, drugs and alcohol have been part of their culture since the 1800s. Oh, you can throw out one but probably not 2 of these reasons, but take the 4th. Organized crime has infiltrated their unions. These are far, far from choirboys in this day. Witness the big Roman fella that fought to the death against the off duty kc cop. You think today's mob could get away with infiltrating the police union ? No, but the 2nd best thing is the fireman union. By the way, remember the fireman strike of like, 81 or 82 ? Shitload of arsons over 2 nights, then settled. Hmmm.

  10. I Do not feel sorry for any firefighter that commits suicide, they have all the resources than most and a brotherhood to wrap them in. If a FF is depressed his hero brothers should act, as usual if they dont, they are not a hero. The fire service is a reality show brought to the public via the IAFF Fire Union propaganda bullshit, when I see a fire fighter that lost his or her life...it sucks, but karma rolls that way, it is just how it works. no tears, no politics after you sold your soul and take the dirt nap, if you are lucky your headstone will read...I wasnt perfect, but look I have the maltease cross on my head stone so respect me... What a joke!

  11. Driving to and from Price Chopper is hard work, yes. The fire trucks put on more miles driving to and from Price Chopper than driving to and from fires. And the absurdity that a fire truck follows each and every ambulance is neither efficient nor effective. The junkie revival doesn't require a fire truck. It might help if the police showed up; but the police don't show up. If you want to feel sorry for someone, feel sorry for the paramedics reviving all the junkies.

  12. @ 632, What you do not seem to understand is that on many ambulance calls the victim is in a position or place where the ambulance crew requires assistance to get the victim out. Time could be of the essence and having the fire crew available immediately could mean the difference between life and death. Also in drug related situations the victim may be combative and not passed out and you need "the offensive line" type to get them under control.

  13. maybe it is good news that their deaths-in-the-line-of-duty have fallen so low that death by suicides is higher.

    suggests firefighting is getting safer.

probably because it is getting less necessary - there are a lot more fire prevention things today than in years past, and thank god for it.

i do think there is some nostalgia and dalmatians pumping up the fire unions in this country. the first responder boot-licking type narrative. thx, radish

  14. I admire firefighters, they risk their lives for the public and they deserve respect. Some of the comments are horrible, they don't represent KC. KC loves KCFD!
