CELEBRATE KANSAS CITY HEART FOREST BEFORE IT'S INEVITABLY TORN DOWN!!!

Here's our hippy-dippy love link of the day . . . A flashback to the long gone era when people still believed there was time to save the planet. Here's the Earth Day effort that endures . . . Thanks to eco-friendly readers who sent this one our way:

About the Heart Forest

The Heart Forest is a living symbol of commitment to environmental, spiritual and community rejuvenation. With the Earth as our canvas we are "painting" a heart with a grove of 550 red cedars at the center that are surrounded by concentric heart shaped bands of flowering, pine and shade trees near KCI in Kansas City, Missouri.

within a few months to years the cedars will spread like an octopus all over the design spoiling it with unplanned trees and it's hard to stop it. Probably the worst possible choice
