Woman killed in early-morning apartment fire

Kansas City fire officials said one person has died in an early-morning apartment fire near Minor Park.Fire crews were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 11200 block of Oak Street, near Holmes Road, around 5:35 a.m.When they arrived, they found a woman dead inside a unit of the apartment building.
