University of Kansas researchers test male contraceptive gel

The school's research institution is conducting a clinical trial for the contraceptive and searching for participating couples. The gel is a mixture of Nestorone and testosterone.

So if it doesn't work all the trial subjects get free abortions?

All subjects must be heterosexual to participate.

The clinical trial for the male contraceptive gel was inconclusive. The test subjects were male KU students. Because all male KU students are homosexual, it is unknown if the gel works.

I am a non-binary, Cisgender man who is transitioning to a woman this month because I want to get knocked up, but after I give birth I will transition back to a Cisgender male to give the baby a father and a mother all in one.
After my transition back, am I eligible for the study? I don't want to knock myself up again inadvertently.

I wish that my life wasn't so complicated.

Men taking extra testosterone into their systems is just as shaky as women taking extra estrogen into their systems.

This is not a good idea.
