WEEKS AFTER TKC: KANSAS CITY STAR DENOUNCES LACK OF LEE'S SUMMIT DIVERSITY BUT MIGHT BE MISTAKEN ABOUT SCHOOL DISTRICT HIRING NUMBERS!!!

LAST YEAR . . .

We already talked about Lee's Summit "lacking diversity" in their hiring of a new school honcho. Even better, we put the "sitch" in context and noted some of the pushback from parents THROUGHOUT THE DISTRICT AND REGARDLESS OF DEMOGRAPHICS to the old boss.

After getting burned for about $700K . . . We can't really blame the officials for recruiting a mediocre list of nobodies -- Which might be exactly the kind of calming effect their district needs following a year of racially charged turmoil.

The newspaper's reporting today . . .

After racial tension, Lee’s Summit has 4 finalists for superintendent. All are white

Moreover, they claim: "In addition, there isn’t one person of color in the district’s central office or on its school board."

LEE'S SUMMIT INSIDER: WRONG!!! THERE ARE AT LEAST FOUR PEOPLE OF COLOR WORKING IN THE CENTRAL OFFICE!!! AND MAYBE ROUNDING UP MINORITIES & PLAYING QUOTA POLICE ISN'T BENEFICIAL FOR DIVERSITY?!?

Whilst arguing about racism with suburban white people has its pleasures . . . Especially (and blessedly) when chubby, white 30-something broads want to go to OBSCENE LENGTHS TO PROVE THEIR LOVE FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR . . . The more interesting debate might be how the newspaper plans to sell this kind of content to ANYBODY.

You decide . . .

Comments

  1. White people are smarter and will run the district correctly.
Unlike the colored geniuses that are running Kansas City schools.

  2. If I had to go back and do it again, I would never hire a black person again.

I did, hundreds of times, most of the time it didn't work out, but I thought I had a responsibility to keep trying.

    Big mistake.

  3. This just seems to be trying to get the best candidate for the job right now.

  4. It continues to be illegal to hire on the basis of race. Black kids in Lee's Summit will have the same opportunity to learn as their white neighbors under a white superintendent. One wonders why that is not all anyone can ask for. If a black superintendent is necessary for black kids to learn, let their parents move back into the KCMOSD.

  5. Maybe LS learned a valuable lesson about hiring based on race... just maybe the tide is turning against the race hustlers and virtue signalers...

  6. There are no black Board of Education members because . . .

    Wait for it . . .

NONE have run for the position.

The U.S. Government may hire liberal democrats to ensure the blacks get all their freebies, but there will be no counseling or handouts on getting a position on the Board.

    Besides, Board members don't get paid . . . is that a deal-breaker?

The failed Star continues to preach their quota system for having blacks in all areas of employment. One will never see the Star state there is an over abundance of black pro football and basketball players while advocating for more Mexicans, Asians and whites in these sports. Obviously a quota system does not work and employment should be based on ability to perform the job.
