Prairie Village leaders want to ban plastic bags

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. - In an effort to be more environmentally conscience, two Prairie Village council members are proposing a ban on single-use plastic bags. The proposal would outright ban plastic bags and then charge stores 10 cents per bag for paper or reusable bags.

  6. Remember the Boomer generation that used glass milk jugs. Took glass pop bottles back to the store. Used paper bags. Created emmission controls for cars. And now generation text is preaching to them about going green. And they think "boomer" is a negative name. BTW, I am not from the boomer generation.
