Possible changes to Overland Park Arboretum bring concern and hope
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- A vote in Overland Park is leaving some residents excited and others concerned. The city wants to expand the attraction by adding an amphitheater and hundreds of parking spaces. Some neighbors are concerned about the possible changes, and how the arboretum is being managed.
Ampitheater in Chesterfield, MO is similar and is a disaster - way too many people show up clogging streets looking for parking spaces that don't exist.
ReplyDeleteThose living on the south side of Overland Park need to understand that folks are moving south more to get away from the crime and people of color. So things are going to get busier in their neighborhood as this expansion shows and if they don't like it they can move further south to Miami County where the taxes are higher and they get much much less city services for their tax dollars.
