Former Grandview officer, already serving life sentence, pleads guilty to another metro murder

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A former Grandview police officer who is already serving one life sentence in prison has now pleaded guilty to another murder. In 2013, Jeffrey Moreland was sentenced in Cass County to life in prison with no chance at parole for the brutal murder of Cara Jo Roberts.

  5. Back in the day, you had to have a background check, Psych check, credit check, polygraph test to be a cop, but now that most humans cant pass those tests...police departments are left no choice but to hire serial killers!

  6. ^^^ Police departments in the metro cant solve most murders let alone serial killer murders!! its a funding thing they say. I say most homicide detectives are not qualified to write a parking ticket, its not their fault, they were never trained to do the job, and have no idea how to do the job, which is why the homicide rate in KC and unsolved cases continue to embarass this city! We need Joe Kenda to come in and clean this shit town up!!
