  1. As corrupt as KCK police are, maybe they should just start over.

  2. Nobody wants to be a police chief in kck because they have the 2nd worst prosecutor in the nation, right behind Petersucker at Jackson co. Why put in all that hard work only to have a prosecutor let the criminals go and you can’t bust black people without having your name drug through the mud and the courts for simply doing your job.

  4. I just heard on Pete mondo this morning about St. Louis trying to waive the living in the city requirements to hire more police, the dude from St. Louis just said it doesn’t matter because that worthless piece of shit Kim Gardner has a list of 150 police officers that no matter what they turn in for prosecution she’s throwing it out. Murder, rape, child abuse it doesn’t matter. She won’t even tell the public who or why she’s doing this, no wonder dimwit run cities are so freaking bad, just awful.

^^Apparently, you don't realize that that can't possibly be true.

  6. What is the delay? Believe me there is a reason. There is some good old fashioned WYCO politics here. Maybe they are waiting for some lawsuits to clear out... Maybe they are afraid to let in someone from the outside because they will crap their pants when they see the dysfunction and corruption. Normally, you hire a search firm and this process is done in a few months.

  7. i do love Byron weighing in with his ignorant two cents on a comment about St Louis politics -- a city he does not live in --- made on a blog about Kansas City local affairs -- a city he does not live in. it's just weird man

yes there is a list of tainted officers. these are officers who because of their lack of integrity and law breaking have made any case they worked on tainted, because in discovery the defendant will see that the officer is involved in their case as a witness and will be able to at trial impeach their credibility mercilessly and therefore a non-conviction. if you choose to say that is the fault of the prosecutor who is bound by legal ethics rules, then you are a hopeless fool. there is something rotten in st louis law enforcement community. look at the federal court litigation. retired or current officers themselves getting their ass kicked by jackbooted dipshits who lie about it. but as for the residency requirement, i think their union has a point because st louis is a very small city less than eighty square miles, whereas KC is like hundreds of square miles in like four counties. so the residency pinch on st louis officers is higher than in KC. radish has spoken.
