Sinkhole near downtown KC airport runway prompts emergency repairs

The Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport is no longer Kansas City's primary travel hub, but it remains more than a historical relic on the north banks of the Missouri River through its use as a hub for corporate and recreational fliers.

  1. What we can do is fill up that sinkhole with the MLK street signs.

  2. Unable to fill potholes, let alone that thing. However, I like your idea of using MLK signs.

  3. Take the airport and plow everything under. Calling it a relic is accurate. Move the corporate and recreational flyers to Johnson County where they belong. I won't miss the planes zooming over my house at 2 in the morning.
