Kansas City Public Schools is one of the largest districts in the metro, with 175 school buses carrying 8,000 students twice a day.That's a lot of vehicles to track, especially in winter weather."It does cause delays for us and really, it's not the delay that's the most critical thing, it's communicating with our families so they're not at risk," said Chris Walls, director of transportation for KCPS.That's why KCPS now offers a free app called SafeStop.
