  1. Are the suburbs starting to look more like the cities because the feel good libs who live in the suburbs are so disconnected from reality that they've imported tons of poor people and section 8 housing into the once nice and polite areas? Yes, 75th street around I-35 is definitely more "urban" and the spiking crime rates reflect that

  2. KCMO is going to continue to slowly gentrify. It's not just Beacon Hill, you're seeing West Plaza, Volker, 39th St, areas that were affordable ten years ago skyrocket. In 30 years KCMO will be well-to-do whites and poor black with exception of vast southland area, including poorer areas of Waldo and the shitty parts of SoKC.

Suburbs north and south will grow. KCMO will shrink.

  3. Kansas City will be bankrupt in 10 years. Anyone with a half brain has already gotten out and those of us left are paying so many taxes we will go bankrupt too soon enough. A city council who voids the will of the voters, politicians who sell the farm to developers and ignore the homeless, council members pushing for bike lanes and clogging city streets even further, a toy train that goes nowhere, There is nobody left to tax and this stupid democrat city is determined to go down the path of Detroit, Newark, Los Angeles and many other democrat strongholds. Unfortunately, there is not the wealthy class left in KC, they moved to Johnson county years ago, and yet you continue to elect baseball personalities, or someone based on the color of their skin rather than someone who will work to solve our problems. I too am out of here as soon as I can sell this house to some stupid buyer who wants to live here. And I have NO good feelings for this shitholes future!
