This report omits a great many deets and behind the scenes gossip . . . It's no fun but still reassuring for those who put their faith in City Hall promises. Read more:

Where things stand now to change MLK Boulevard back to The Paseo

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- As people across the country celebrate MLK's legacy, Kansas City is still in the process of changing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard back to The Paseo. Voters decided to keep The Paseo last November after the city council voted to change it.

  1. City Hall's usual tactic is to shred any voter initiative that passes if it doesn't fall into lock step with the program.

  6. On November 05, 2019 Kansas City Voters said The Paseo - to MLK - should become The Paseo again. If Voters can't rule, it is time to take more understandable action, until the can. If you study public information on the net, MLK was not as great as some would like for us to believe.

  7. More worried about naming a Street after a Leader vs. Blacks listening to him and living without their non stop violence. My forefathers were slaves. Can't say I carry a GAT, hold my dick while walking or Sag. Also I don't listen to cop killing lyrics, any stupid Rap Crap or deal illegal drugs. I guess it's not slavery but a simple choice of excuse making or not.

  9. Look everyone it's time to send a message to Gov Parsons that the city of Kansas City is not only discriminating but they have refused to change street signs. They have more than enough people who have applied for jobs to help fill pot holes and do things like change the street signs of THE PASEO but anyone who applied for a job doing these things was turned away for being white! Start screaming now before we lose our city!!!!!!!
