One more look at how public service warning FAILED to convince locals. Checkit:
Woman's camera captures someone firing off multiple shots New Year's Eve
In just seven seconds, there were 28 gunshots fired, followed by 11 more."It's terrifying. I didn't know if I was getting shot at," resident Melinda Ivey said.Ivey said someone at a home near hers fired round after round into the east sky on New Year's Eve.
As a multi-gun owner in the burbs, this guy is a total fuckin' loser. He's the kind of low life scumbag who gives the anti-gunners validity. As for the cops "cop-out" about identity, they could have given the home owner a disturbing the peace citation at least. I usually support cops, but this display of indifference is not acceptable.
ReplyDelete^^^ Truth.
Delete2:13pm This type of indifference is commonplace. Thanks for finally catching up to what the rest of us already know. Protect and service is a myth. You better be able to protect and serve yourself. You’re assed out if you think the police are going to help you.
ReplyDeleteDon't bother calling the police; the police are hiding in the stations. Don't bother calling 911. Call the police non-emergency number and the police officer on duty will answer on the second or third ring; but don't expect a cruiser to be dispatched. The police need to get out of the station and do some police work. Sorry you might get shot, but that is the job. I think $100,000 a year salary is a bit too much for a cop that does nothing but hide at the station and answer the phone.
