  1. Liberal neighborhoods at their finest. What we need are some illegal immigrants to move into these areas and really spruce them up.

  2. The whole city has this same problem. Look at the number of vacant lots where houses used to be. There are trash houses all over the city North of the River. The city claims they can't find the owners. Oh really? One house has been abandoned for years, and recently sold on the courthouse steps. I say "recently" but it was last summer that the sale was final. It's still trashed and falling down. New "owner" did nothing. That's the situation. The city can't or won't do anything. So, we continue to crumble.

  3. 5:32 personal experience here, when you buy a house off the court house steps you don’t legally own shit until the county gives you the deed, in Jackson county they average 8 months after the tax sale before you get the deed, clay maybe a little faster but until you get the deed you can’t set foot on or do anything to the property you purchased. Dems da rules jack, sorry.

  4. The Northeast is a shithole but not as bad as the East side. Renovate both of them with a fleet of bulldozers.

  5. You should have started by voting for better leadership in the city but then again you didn't have much to choose from. It's not going to get any better only worse, just take a look at the crime rate already and it's only the first week in January. Lucas isn't going to help you, all of your money goes to failing schools, big business, changing street names, and lawsuits over bogus property assessments. You have only yourself to blame. Don't forget your tax dollars when you paid the idiot Sly James to protest instead of taking care of business. Dumb asses.
