KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, police arrested five people Tuesday afternoon following a pursuit. KCPD told 41 Action News a silver Ford Focus and a black Volkswagen Jetta were involved in a rolling gun battle. Officers were first called to 58th and Prospect on reports of the sound of shots fired.
A fender-bender that occurred Sunday as fans left Arrowhead Stadium following the Chiefs' win in the AFC Divisional Round has landed a man in jail. Johnathan Brown, 42, was charged Monday with assault after allegedly punching a man after his son was involved in the crash.

Two people were injured in a double shooting Tuesday evening near 80th Street and Flora Avenue, Kansas City police said.The shooting was reported about 6:30 p.m.Authorities said one victim was in serious condition at a hospital. The second victim was in stable condition, police said.Investigators have not released any other details.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The man accused of shooting his wife to death at a south Kansas City home was released from the hospital on Tuesday and booked into jail, according to records. Brandon Petsch, 36, was charged Saturday with second-degree murder and armed criminal action after his wife, Georgia Petsch, was found dead Friday inside the home in the 300 block of West 98th Street.
Deadly Drama Declaration
An actress charged in the stabbing death of her mother in Olathe told police and 911 operators that her mother had attempted to kill her and she acted in self-defense, according to court records released Tuesday. Medical examiners however, determined there were no signs the mother was ever in control of the weapon.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - One man was arrested and another injured in a Tuesday night crash in Kansas City, Missouri. The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. at East 23rd Street and Cleveland Avenue. The driver of the car reportedly may have been trying to elude police when the crash occurred.
