Kansas City Chiefs Sacrilege?!?!

Given the overwhelming love for this town's football team right now . . . There are few who would be willing to openly cast stones at this bit of faith community kitch:

Church's sign puts Chiefs twist on Lord's prayer

Hide Transcript Show Transcript IN PRAIRIE VILLAGE IS ACTING IF YOU GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY MORNINGS, YOU'VE PROBABLY HEARD THE LORD'S PRAYER MAYBE HUNDREDS OF TIMES, BUT IF YOU LISTEN CLOSELY THIS SUNDAY HERE AT THE ASBURY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN PRAIRIE VILLAGE, YOU'LL HEAR SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT.

The Methodists are splitting up and pushing gayness on us at the hands of adam hamilton...so this is nothing.

That church is obviously a secular church. What they have on their sign is blasphemous. NOT FUNNY!

It doesn't matter. They aren't a real church anyway.

^^and yet it is hilarious! Lighten up Francis. Weird.

I don't support this church's position on homsexuality (it's not "Gay" it is "Homosexuals") but they have a sense of humor and I do support that!

In this society that ignores God’s Commandments, the Sabbath can be a test of our faith. But when we call it a delight and not a burden, it then becomes a great blessing to our lives and God rewards us richly (Isaiah 58:13-14). The Sabbath is a time for resting from our normal activities and focusing on spiritual priorities.
