Road tripping report as right-wing Legislatures talk a big game about "Infrastructure" but the proof of their commitment on state highways is lacking. Read more and drive carefully . . .

Missouri, Kansas ranked low in new highway safety report

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A safety report released overnight Thursday ranked Kansas and Missouri on highway laws. The grade is based on the colors of a stoplight. Green means good. It means the state significantly advanced in adopting all recommended laws from Yellow means caution. The state needs improvement because of gaps in laws.

Comments

  1. More traffic laws, the same as more gun laws, does not equate to a state having safer drivers.
Saferoads.org needs to use traffic deaths per 100,000 in population. Then and only then can they ranks states for traffic safety.

  3. How does Missouri rank nationally in Highway Department Administrative salaries?

  4. Doesn't I-70 go down to one lane in downtown Kansas City? If so, that's incredibly stupid for a major highway to go down to one lane for a variety of reasons.
