Experts Skeptical About Kansas City Mayor's Lawsuit Against Gunmakers

The crux of the case from Beltway pundits . . .

"Lawsuits against firearms manufacturers and dealers are few and far between since such businesses are generally protected under federal law from charges when their weapons are used to commit crimes. However, the city argues such protections do not apply when the businesses violate federal gun laws by selling weapons to people they know to be felons."

  5. Right. Sue the gun manufacturers. While we're at it, lets sue car manufacturers because they provide the means for all drive-by shootings. Let's sue fuel providers because, let's face it, no fuel, no drive-by shootings. Tire manufacturers, too. They are complicit. How about fast food chains, as they feed the drive-by shooters. And how about cities? Cities are responsible for allowing gun shops, right? And while we are at it, let's sue food manufacturers for the obesity epidemic, alcohol distillers for alcoholism, silverware and flatware manufacturers for making plates and forks so big as to cause obesity and heart disease. Who else can we sue? The pool industry for drownings? Let's put our minds to it and think how we can rake these companies over the coals for their racketeering and enabling.

As some one earlier stated this is just a continuation of the politicos not wanting to admit who the problem is and just dancing around the problem.

  8. They never sue the monkeys who use the illegal weapons for crime. Ever notice that one ?

  9. Guns aren’t the problem. The ghetto people are the problem. The average rural Missouri household has more guns in it than the average shithole ghetto household, but the murders happen in the shithole ghetto at an extremely disproportionate rate. The problem is clear and it isn’t guns. Quinton is a chickenshit effeminate fag.

  10. sue the food companies for giving fuel to the people who held the guns. Then sue the clothing manufactures for protecting the people who use guns in crimes. Then sue car makers for all traffic accidents. SUE HAPPY LAWYER RAN CORRUPT KC.
