Waiting Game: Old KCI Still Works

Even amid a horrific and poorly planned construction maze, the old airport still holds up as politicos wait until 2030 for their new pipe dream and eventual disappointment . . . Take a look:

40,000 travelers expected to pass through KCI on Sunday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Sunday after Thanksgiving is expected to be the busiest travel day of the year as people return home from the holiday. At Kansas City International Airport, 40,000 travelers are expected to either arrive or depart through the airport on 330 flights.

  1. TOP PHOTO -- TERMINAL JOBS PROJECT

KCMO political leadership (or lack thereof) visited their neighbor's new man-cave with wall-to-wall TV screens, pool table, fridge, and BBQ pit, only to decide that they needed one too. Just $1.5B, 4 years to build it, and forever in debt!!!

  2. In November my wife and I went to Egypt and back. Airports we transited through: MCI, Dulles, Frankfort (2x), Cairo, Amman, O’Hare. MCI was BY FUCKING FAR, the most convenient airport of the whole trip. I can’t understand the fucking morons who hate it. The amount of walking in all these other airports was 5-10 times more than MCI. We’ll miss it when it’s gone.
