  1. If The Plaza's assessment appeals fail the whole place will be abandoned and boarded up by the end of 2020.

  2. Forever 21 can't even make it (now that's sick) they have closed off part of their upper level. The Plaza is dead. Word spreads and KC doesn't have good things said about it anymore. Because of racism the flash mobs can't be punished so like everything else it goes down. Everyone may think Nichols was a bad guy but he sure did run a good show for years and yes blacks shopped on the Plaza back then, they also worked there. Christmas Eve the Plaza was dead while other shopping areas were packed. Even Cheesecake Factory was dead at lunchtime.

  4. You will see more closings over the next five years. You can't do business with people who don't have any money .Or don't want to spend it The affluent are hording money. Staying in cash not in stocks. Cash is king .Banking networks go down you can't access your accounts. Or banks go under. And you are waiting in a bank all day and you can't have your money .BE prepared .

  5. We old folks don't dare go down to the Plaza anymore. Daytime is no safer than at night. But, nighttime is a bad time to be there. Nothing down there that you can't get in the suburbs.

  6. Hogshead is a very unappealing name. I mean really. Visions of a chopped off head in texas chainsaw massacre kind of name. If you want to do biz in the plaza, use a charming name. It maybe too late, as people are learning how much crime there is in the plaza and that it was covered up for years.

  7. The place just wasn't that good. Ate there a couple of times and was unimpressed. Yuppie-Q with an extremely limited menu.

  8. Nobody with any sense, wants to be around blacks. They're irrational and dangerous animals.

  9. Yuppie-Q? You clearly never ate there. It is/was not a BBQ restaurant....
