Christmas Could Be Bleak This Year For Kansas City Families Relying On The Salvation Army
With a day and a half to go before Christmas, the Salvation Army of Kansas and Western Missouri needs a late push to meet its yearly fundraising goal of $1.2 million. Major David Harvey says they still need to raise around $400,000.
Not entirely true. I’ve switched my donation to the Sal to “in kind”. I now clean up after them when they leave behind trash from feeding their constituents.
ReplyDeleteThe Salavation Army is just mad that people are onto them. If you want people to blindly stick money in your pots, open your books. Let us see how much your head honchos make and where that money goes.
ReplyDeleteI am sick the damn ringing. Annoying as hell. The organization is too hostile to the LGBTQ community, regardless. And people need to stop handing over all of the change to the vagrants on the street corners; as the vagrants on the street corners use the money for alcohol and visit the Salvation Army for food and a bed for the night.
