Show-Me Start Of Global Climate Change Amid Historic Missouri Flooding

A glimpse at AOC's dire predictions coming true OR maybe just a hint that rural po'folk need to stop building in flood plains . . . AND/OR the State is still confronting continued debate with Army Corps of Engineers.

Either way, the debate could be continued into 2020 and on a boat . . .

2019 set a record for flooding in Missouri. How bad was the damage?

More than 1,700 individual claims have been filed. FEMA has also assisted people without flood insurance. In 2019, 1,500 Missouri homes were approved for grants totaling $7.3 million. The grants are meant for home repairs and relocation, as well as replacing personal property.

  4. The more concrete you pour the more flooding you have unless proper drainage is in place. The climate changes four times a year nothing new. As for global warming that's only used in the summer but when it gets cold outside then it's back to climate change again. AOC and her scare tactics are a reality in her sick little mind. See you in 12 years!

  5. Ranking natural disasters based only on $ damage is misleading, which is probably why it is used. It is chiefly an indicator of how much development was foolishly permitted since the last bad flood. Require developers in flood prone areas to provide their own flood insurance will assure that the next significant flood is not so bad, using the current method of ranking.

  10. @9:45 Maybe your Mommy should have bought a home without a basement, then you'd be on the Street and not leeching off her Social Security check.

  11. ^^Maybe if you weren't such an asshole, your family wouldn't have dumped you at the rest home. Look, you spent Christmas alone because people hate you. The sooner you accept it, the sooner you can pass on.

  12. Let’s analyze this together people, where did all the flooding occur? In a flood zone so is it really considered flooding if it occurs in a flood zone? Seems pretty natural if it occurs in an area designated as a flood zone, I mean, how much warning do you need?

Think about that for a moment.
