Missouri Has A Plan To Boost Teacher Pay: It'll Cost $400 Million
Missouri's education department has come up with a scheme to pay public school teachers more. Yet it would take nearly $400 million to lift Missouri from the bottom of state rankings for teacher compensation to the middle of the pack.
Teachers work 9 months out of the year. They get paid fairly when that is taken into account.

I don’t think too many people are going to be on board with this as long as we have a jack-off like Bedell as superintendent and fake attendance numbers and an extremely low literacy rate of graduates in Kansas City public schools.
