Kansas City police end written Miranda warning for suspects
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Police in Kansas City no longer will provide suspects with a written copy of their rights and instead will give them a verbal Miranda warning as part of changes aimed at tackling violent crime.
Please be aware that if you "refuse to say anything" on the grounds it may incriminate you - well its now seen as an admission of guilt! That's the supreme court's ruling. See Salinas vs. Texas.
