Kansas City Tribute To YJ's

This old school, artsy coffee shop didn't make it through 2019 and was done for after leaving the Crossroads. Here's a worthwhile video round-up of their unsuccessful struggle for survival that's worth a look as KCMO grows increasingly familiar with the consequences of gentrification. Checkit:

  2. I can't say what all lead to this sad closing, but I can say I saw two issues, 1. Near by business over powering their First Friday night music, not taking turns, poor public works not fixing street after major water line proplemb, I lack of street parking near by also may have been a issue. I don't live or office in that area and foot traffic at that time wouldn't bring in enough sales. I will miss going there for real homemade pie and cake. No other business offered this. The new place looked great but I guess it wasn't ment to work. Good luck David whair ever you end up.
