  3. This is going to turn into a hot mess. Landlords who put up with this are asking for trouble. The law already gives tenants way too much as it is now. Sounds like Byron and his idol, Hitler have won in carrying out the first part of communism in K.C.
Don't like your landlord? It's simple move or don't rent from them, and don't tear the place up and then blame the landlord.

  4. They might have rights but their will be a lot less places to rent and at higher prices.

  5. Oh yah no doubt Plaza Condo and Beacon Hill property owners will be leaping in joy to rent to the KC Tenants crowd.

  7. Just another illegal power grab by KCMO goverment to rob property owners of all their rights and anything else they steal through regulation, inspections, fines... A Big Brother Housing and Property Authority.

That should be obvious at this point.

  9. Sure landlords should be held accountable but in the same token tenants should be held just as equally. Not all are landlords are great people and the same applies to tenants.

  10. I'm curious who's funding this too. It's not a grassroots thing, but it's meant to give the appearance of that. The "protesters" are paid. Here's a free tip, KC Star, do some investigative journalism on this and you'd sell a lot of papers AND the reporter who wrote it would have a lot easier time moving up to a different newspaper since you all should be looking to jump ship

  12. @10:44am Great idea, but the Star just got a grant from Google to "investigate and report" on gun violence.
Not crime or homicides, mind you.
    "Gun violence".
It's not real hard to figure out the "results" of their investigation, but you can bet it won't involved behavior.
And the Star now needs grants to pay reporters?
Would the last to leave please turn out the lights.

  13. Let just say this in plain language...This is a bad plan.

  14. This seems like a group of bottom up Barry and Soros activist.....
