KANSAS CITY SNOW BLAST TOO STRONG FOR PREZ TRUMP SUPPORTERS AGAINST UPCOMING IMPEACHMENT?!?!

Before an arctic blast we shared a note about a pro-Trump rally despite the snow.

The note was sent our way in a post from our friends at Citizen For Responsible Government Kansas City . . .

Follow-up: We heard a few of Prez Trump's most loyal supporters braved the cold weather but didn't garner much of a crowd.

In our initial post, we noted the bad planning and snow jeopardy.

And now we wonder . . .

DOES THIS KC SNOW FAIL SIGNIFY FADING SUPPORT FOR PREZ TRUMP?!?

To be fair, even the most loyal supporters of the Prez typically keep their fandom on the down low.

And so, to satisfy the demand for more Prez Trump news from our blog community, we share this quick collection regarding the troubles confronting the Commander-In-Chief . . .

Half of voters support impeaching Trump and removing him from office, new poll finds

Half of American voters want President Donald Trump impeached and removed from office, according to a poll released Sunday from Fox News that was taken as House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against the President.

Trump takes nasty dig at Pelosi in latest slam of House Dems

President Trump on Sunday took a swipe at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., over her response to a reporter who asked why bribery wasn't included in the newly unveiled articles of impeachment, despite Democrats - including the Speaker herself - having repeatedly leveled those charges against the president throughout impeachment proceedings.

The lies have it: Republicans abandon truth in Trump impeachment defence

"Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four," George Orwell wrote in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. "If that is granted, all else follows." The pro-Donald Trump industrial complex has not yet denied basic arithmetic. But as impeachment looms, his allies appear to be waging an increasingly frantic political and media counter-offensive that puts truth itself in the dock.

Democratic Party Switcheroo

House Democrat Who Opposed Impeachment Plans To Switch To The Republican Party

A conservative-leaning Democrat from New Jersey who defied his party in opposing the impeachment of President Trump is expected to switch parties and become a Republican. Rep. Jeff Van Drew, a first-term Blue Dog Democrat who represents a swing district in southern New Jersey, intends to change parties after some of Van Drew's internal polling showed that he was becoming increasingly unpopular in his purple district, according to a senior Democratic aide.

Trump impeachment interest has faded since the early Ukraine revelations

Between the lines: Of the 10 biggest stories about impeachment since Sept. 16 - as measured by interactions on each story, such as likes, comments and shares - none have posted after Nov. 15, a sign that the intensity of the debate has died down over the last month.

Democrats blast GOP senators for signaling impeachment votes

Leading Democrats on Sunday took Republican senators to task for signaling how they'll vote in the all-but-certain Senate impeachment trial - where attention is already turning as the impeachment proceedings facing President Donald Trump move forward. Sen.

  3. I think in the end Trump comes out of this with a win. Voters want to make the decision, they don't want their choices to be decided for them. Impeachment was always a bad choice and a lot of the Democratic Party didn't want to do it. But it beats having to come up with new ideas or challenge the status quo.

This is a win for the Republicans and for Trump. The impeachment shows the Democrats are out of ideas.

Are you sharing that with us because nobody else will listen to you? Because nobody really believes that.

Trump will be impeached. If he's not carried out of the White House in handcuffs, he definitely will not ever win another election.

Honest question, I'm a Democratic Party voter but not a progressive:

Why weren't the Republicans upset about obstruction when they did nearly the same thing to President Obama for 8 years. The Democratic Party is just repeating their same tactics. Meanwhile, the American people don't get any of the legislation they want.

Doesn't all of this partisan fighting just represent government gridlock?

    ReplyDelete

    1. This is nowhere near the same thing.

The,Republicans didn't weaponize the government to subvert an opposition candidate, and then go on to loose a 24/7 assault on him from the media establishment when that didn't work out.

Geez, people. It was the Chiefs playing Denver, this was around the 4th quarter. And I had a driveway full of snow, the streets were not plowed, many accidents reported. And back to the Chiefs --I need something happy in my life, so I wasn't going out, period. Kansas is a red state and will remain one. What would be the point?

  13. I voted for George W. Bush. He sucked at reviving the economy. I voted for Obama. He sucked at reviving the economy, made Americans less proud to be Americans, lied about keeping your doctor with Obamacare, worked on unisex bathroom laws (woohoo! ... not), hurt the reputation of law enforcement, and stunk at a lot of other things. I then voted for Trump. He's been ripping the cover off the baseball in a lot of areas -- economy, border security, military, patriotism, trade, etc. All of this without much help from the House. I'd say that's why I'm planning to vote for him again.

    2. Who's wildman?

Anyhoo, most economists view the continued economic growth since the middle of 2009, when Democratic President Barack Obama was in office, as the primary explanation for black hiring. More important, there are multiple signs that the racial wealth gap is now worsening and the Trump administration appears to have done little, if anything, to specifically address this challenge.

So go put a bullet in your head.

  16. I was there. It was bleak at first but we found great camaraderie among the supporters of our President. We chanted, we sang and we earned a lot of love from the cars passing by. Honks and raised fists in support of our President.

It was was I was shouting my love of our President that my hands briefly touched those of Tom's. He was a tall, skinny, and rough looking supporter of President Trump who wasn't wearing a big enough coat for the cold day. His cheeks blushed red and held back tears twinkled in his eyes.

We quickly left the protest and talked about politics over a cup of coffee.

He may not posses much formal education but he has some brilliant insights about the culture, the media and why he supported the President.

I asked him to come back to my place to watch some of the news and warm up before his long ride home.

We walked briskly through the raging snow and laughed as the Plaza lights shined upon us.

My hands were shaking as I juggled the keys to my apartment. We were both tense with excitement. The lights were off and I could only hear my cat make a quick move out of our way as we fell on the couch in a heated embrace. The cold skin of our two hairy chests seemed to spark as we clawed at one another. We shared in delights I have never experienced. He was a confident but gracious lover and guided me through the encounter with so much skill and tenderness.

As I sit here looking at the snow glistening off the window, illuminated by lights of our beautiful city. I don't know what the future will bring.

But I'm going to ask this man to move in with me and probably end up voting for Pete Buttigieg if I get a chance.

    Oh Byron you ignorant slut!

A sad, ridiculous sham in the House of Representatives
    Lindsey Graham 2019

Every impeachment -- except this one -- has been conducted by outside counsel.
Ken Starr in Clinton. The Watergate prosecutors found misconduct by Nixon.
This is being driven by Democratic partisans. This is being rushed. There is no due process.
    Lindsey Graham 2019

If House Democrats are looking for an ‘Abuse of Power’ they should look in the mirror.
    Lindsey Graham 2019

This will be the first impeachment in American history driven by partisan politics and not an outside investigation.
I fear House Democrats are turning impeachment into a tool to be used when you don’t like a president’s policies or style.
    Lindsey Graham 2019

Byron I have lived in Kansas City all my life and had a weekly column in the Kansas City Star for years. I was a business owner and supporter of our town. You have no ties to Kansas City, even your own flesh and blood wants nothing to do with you. Go away or if nothing else to be fair at least be brave enough to list the town where you live so that we as well can come visit it and express our thoughts on it and the people who live there. I doubt you will being the coward you are.

Apparently someone has touched on nerve on 11:47 because they've called Trump out for mocking someone else's features when he himself is a fat slob in a poorly fitted suit. He's the POTUS for chrissakes, can someone take his fat ass to a tailor and get him a suit that actually fits???? Looks like he rolled into JC Penney and picked that thing up on the sale rack.
