Kansas City News Spin Injury-Prone Patrick Mahomes Into 'Tough Guy' Image

Don't get it twisted . . . We admire his play and believe he's giving his all, but the hype downplays the brutality of the game and increasingly short NFL careers. Checkit:

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes earning tough-guy reputation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Patrick Mahomes is quickly earning a reputation as one of the toughest quarterbacks in the NFL. That's not necessarily a good thing for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Strange leaning walk. Bulky in middle. Passes were wobbly last week. Win a SB young prince. Then we talk legend. No way we are beating Pats in Boston twice. And we will have to.

Anybody that walks on an NFL field and faces linebackers is a tough guy

"Mahomes earning tough-guy reputation"

- hilarious! 'Tough' in this 'safeguards built-in' century 21 NFL is not the same as being tough in the 'no holds barred', rock em' sock em' world of pro football 1960's and decades before.

'Charmin' mahomes as 'Tammy' brady as the rest of the girly girl pantywaists (look but don't touch) would not make it through one game had he been played yesteryear.

Both these china doll QB's have a habit of looking for a flag and official any time a defensive player gets near them (watch the games in person, and you get a better indication than you do on tv/online.)

Tough?

No.

Softy?

You betcha.
