Kansas City Monday Trash Day Cancelled

Smarter local denizens guessed this one already. Here's the confirmation and sign that about 3 & 1/2 inches brings this town to a standstill . . . Which might be somewhat reassuring [blush] for some of our readers:

Waste Management cancels Monday trash collection due to weather

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- All residential and commercial collection routes of Waste Management in Jackson, Platte, Clay, Cass and Ray counties in Missouri and Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Miami, Linn and Franklin counties in Kansas have been canceled Monday due to winter weather.

Tax collection for these services wont be cancelled.

KCMO needs to get the city minions out snow plowing the streets. The streets are in a terrible mess.

Oh great WM loves to charge extra for commercial containers being too full. They best be ready to not do so tomorrow since they are to pussiefied to get out in a little snow.
