In fact, in the coming year this cowtown is going to look something like the Blade Runner movies, only with a less engaging or optimistic plot-line.

BRIGHT AND SHINING DIGITAL BILLBOARDS PREP FOR A GLARING KANSAS CITY 2020 RENAISSANCE THANKS TO A RECENT AND UNANIMOUS COUNCIL VOTE!!!

As fights over social justice and corporate welfare took center-stage toward the end of the year, this neighborhood issue was pushed out of the spotlight . . . That's somewhats ironic because we expect some EPIC illuminated displays to shine down on the community over the next year and spark renewed push back from places like Waldo -- A neighborhood wherein residents lament the horrific condition of Wornall Road in every respect but mostly because it looks a dystopian, urban nightmare packed with marketing spam and struggling retail strip malls.

  1. This ain't completely bad news. Some of Kansas City's best years were when this city was packed with advertising. Look at the old photos. The marketing suggests a vibrant economy.
