Kansas City Can't Drive In Bad Weather

Preview of a constant Winter worry . . . Locals have somehow completely lost their skill to navigate and SLOW DOWN when conditions on the road aren't idea. This morning's traffic hot mess provides more proof of this worsening trend. Careful out there today . . . Checkit:

Multiple wrecks delaying downtown commute times

I-35 southbound at Pennway If your commute takes you in or through downtown Kansas City, Missouri, you might want to tack on some extra time for your morning drive.Multiple wrecks in and around the downtown loop are slowing traffic.Two of the biggest incidents are on I-70 and I-35.A multi-vehicle wreck in the westbound lanes of I-70 just past Prospect has traffic in the westbound lanes backed up beyond Van Brunt with a slowdown back to the I-435 interchange.A two-vehicle crash on southbound I-35 at Southwest Boulevard is also having a ripple effect back into downtown.

  4. Its not locals! Its all of the transplants from Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio and Wichita. Dont blame Kansas City, we grew up in much worse. Suburban people can drive in any weather, rain or shine, drunk or sober.
